Our 2023 Coat Giveaways were a success, thanks to the kindness and generosity of our community!
Local individuals, churches, and businesses donated thousands of coats and winter accessories that we were able to give out to our neighbors in need at our Market Street Mission and Jersey Shore Rescue Mission locations. We are grateful, too, for all our volunteers who helped our guests pick out coats for themselves and their families on Giveaway days!
On Saturday, November 4th, the Market Street Mission distributed more than 2,300 coats to 340 families on the Morristown Green. Two weeks later, on Saturday, November 18th, the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission gave out 1,900 coats to around 400 families at the Mission. Praise God for this opportunity to care for people in our community!
