The face of homelessness is changing in Morris County. More and more people in their 20s are homeless. More and more women with children are escaping domestic abuse. More and more people with mental illness are living on the streets.

 

We want to change that.

Here are some sobering stats about homelessness in Morris County:

Nearly 50% have been homeless for less than 6 months.

26,000 people in Morris County are living below the poverty line.

On any given night, 96 children are homeless with their parent.

Over 50% reported struggling with substance abuse and/or mental illness.
