VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteer at the Mission
“I was serving a meal and there was a dirty tray so I threw it in the dishwasher instead of handing it to the man waiting for a meal. The man thanked me. When I asked him why he was thanking me, he said, ‘Before I came to the Mission, no one’s ever gave me a clean dish. I didn’t think anyone would ever do that for me.’”
– Jennifer, a MSM volunteer

We could really use your help! Every day, we serve hot, nutritious meals to both our guests from the community and the residents in our Life Change Recovery Program.
We collect men’s, women’s, and children’s new or gently used coats starting in September. We need volunteers to help us collect coats and bring them to our Thrift Store, as well as help us during the Coat Giveaway.
Assist our Thrift Store staff with cleaning, sorting, and organizing the Thrift Store. This role can be physical at times – with some walking, standing or stocking shelves.
Based on the projects going on in the Office, assistance in preparing mailings, valuing donations, organizing the basic needs closet, etc. can be needed.
