5K Race for Recovery on the Boardwalk 2025

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 8th annual Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore 5K Race for Recovery on the Boardwalk! It was a beautiful day for our 5K Race, 2-Mile Family Walk, and Kids’ Fun Run. We also enjoyed gathering for awards, giveaway prizes, and an encouraging testimony from one of our Life Change Addiction Recovery Program alumni.

At this year’s race, we had 397 people register to run and walk, and more than 50 volunteers who helped make our event possible. And thanks to your generosity, we received $3,581.89 in donations to feed and care for those in need! We also had a strong showing from 12 teams this year, with our largest having 69 members (thank you First Baptist Church)!

Your participation supports Mission services like meals, shelter, and addiction recovery, while also showing the people we serve that they are not alone. We are so thankful you joined us this year!
