5K Race for Recovery
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 12th annual Fourth of July 5K Race for Recovery! It was an exciting community gathering to kick off our 250th Independence Day festivities while also celebrating freedom from addiction!
290 participants and 50 volunteers came together for a fun morning featuring a 5K race, two-mile walk, kids’ fun run, race awards, and giveaway prizes. But this event is about more than crossing the finish line – it’s a community-wide expression of hope and encouragement for those overcoming addiction and running their own race of recovery.
Every registration, sponsorship, and donation helps care for our neighbors in need by supporting Mission services like free meals, shelter, and our Life Change Addiction Recovery Program. Aside from registrations, we received $3,700 in donations! Thank you to everyone who donated and fundraised!
