After extensive prayer, thoughtful evaluation, and careful discussion, the Board of Directors and senior leadership have decided to shift the focus of Market Street Mission –Sussex County from hospitality for the homeless to treatment and referrals for those who desire to find recovery in their fight against addiction.

Effective April 6, Market Street Mission – Sussex County will no longer offer overnight shelter and meal services to the community, and will instead function as a drop-in referral center connecting individuals to local Sussex County resources and to our long-term addiction recovery and relapse programs in Morristown and Asbury Park.
