Facts at a Glance

Since 1889, Market Street Mission has been reaching out to the poor and needy in Morris County. Market Street assists individuals to overcome homelessness, addictions, and disabilities through a life centered on Christ.

Thanks to the generous support of our community in the past year, God blessed Market Street Mission by giving us the opportunity to:

• Serve 88,067 meals to homeless and underprivileged individuals.
• Provide 29,229 shelter nights of care to men at our Emergency Shelter and residents in our Life Change Program.
• Hold over 400 chapel services with approximately 80 people attending daily.
• Distribute approximately 90 food boxes monthly to needy families through our Angel Food program.
• Distribute 850 backpacks filled with supplies to needy school children and teens in our area.
• Graduate 45 men from our Life Change Program.
• Distribute approximately 5000 winter coats at our annual Coat Giveaway (the first Saturday of November).
• Distribute Thrift Store charity vouchers to many needy families – estimated value $35,000.
